This Privacy Policy explains what information Phospace collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: display name, email address, password (stored as a secure hash), and avatar image.
  • Content: messages, files, and images you post in communities and direct conversations.
  • Sign-in providers: if you sign in with a crypto wallet, we store your public wallet address; we never receive or store your private keys.
  • Technical data: session cookies required to keep you signed in.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate the Service: authenticate you, deliver messages, host your communities, verify your email address, and enforce our Terms of Service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies

We use an HTTP-only session cookie to keep you signed in. It is required for the Service to function and expires after 7 days.

4. Third-party services

Uploaded files and images are stored via UploadThing. Emails (such as verification codes) are delivered via our email provider. Crypto-wallet sign-in is handled by your own wallet application (such as MetaMask). These providers process your data under their own privacy policies.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account data while your account is active. Messages you delete are marked as deleted and hidden from other users. To request full deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.

6. Security

Passwords are hashed with bcrypt and never stored in plain text. Sessions are signed and stored in HTTP-only cookies. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, please contact us.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced through the Service.
